CLASS TEACHER for Class 1 in September 2024. We are looking for someone with enthusiasm, energy, initiative, commitment and a strong sense of responsibility for the education of children, who would enjoy working with us in the ongoing development of our curriculum and practices. Steiner Waldorf Teacher training is essential. They will also be interested and find joy in working as part of a team. The school is managed and led by a College of Teachers, so we are looking ideally for someone who would, when ready, be willing to share in the responsibility of running the school. Teaching experience and a skill that could be offered to other classes, such as Craft or foreign languages, would be advantageous. Appointment will be subject to a clear DBS check.

Salary: £30,076 pa

Hours: 40 hours per week (core hours 8am-4pm) plus some evenings and weekends and holiday time preparation.

Holiday: 6 weeks per annum.

PART-TIME EURYTHMY TEACHER for Kindergarten and Lower/Middle school. We are looking for someone enthusiastic, energetic, creative, and open to new ideas and projects. Also, someone who has a deep commitment to eurythmy and teaching children. You would start with Kindergarten and the lower school classes with a view to growing when the needs arise. Applicants will also be interested and find joy in working as part of a team. Depending on background and experience, our school eurythmist, Michèle, is happy to guide, mentor and supervise someone new to this position. A full Eurythmy training is required and a willingness to do some teacher training in order to better understand the developing child. Teaching experience and other skills such as gardening, craft or language would be advantageous. Appointment will be subject to a clear DBS check.

Salary: £30,076 pa (pro rata)

GERMAN TEACHER for classes to be negotiated, in the Lower, Middle and/or High School from September 2024. We are looking for someone with a deep sense and love for the language and culture. Steiner Waldorf Teacher training is essential, but this can be offered as in-service training to the right candidate. Teaching experience is preferred but not a pre-condition. Our ideal candidate has a passion for languages and a strong sense of responsibility for the education of children. Applicants will also be interested and find joy in working as part of a team. The school is managed and led by a College of Teachers, so we are looking ideally for someone who would, when ready, be willing to share in the responsibility of running the school. Appointment will be subject to a clear DBS check.

Salary: £30,076 pa (pro rata)

Hours: 40 per week which include the subject lessons as well as extracurricular events and preparation time. The school’s core hours are 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Holiday: 6 weeks per annum.
