Donations to the The St Michael Steiner School are always welcome.
The school, now 25 years old, was founded in 2001. We offer Parent & Child
groups, Kindergarten and Classes 1 to 12, providing for children and students from birth to 18.
Over the past year we have, as with other independent schools and businesses been hit with VAT
and business rates. This is a time when we really need your support. We are actively outreaching to
increase our student numbers and looking at all funding options. This donation page is one of the
avenues where you can help.
We need support immediately to boost our student bursary pot to help individual families.
In the long term we would like to develop reserves to look to the future, to envisage our vision for
our school. We would love to have 3 kindergartens to feed our Lower school and have a full High
School. Additionally we would like to continue to support our local community with outreach events
and our regular parent & chid groups.
To give you an idea of what your donation could support:
* A salary of a teacher (£31,580)
* Bursary to support a child (£16,503)
* Organic/biodynamic seeds for the garden (£2-10 per packet)
* Maintenance of the building (e.g. painting the hallways £6500)
* Tools & materials for art & craft
