Martinmas in classes 1 & 2
With the beauty of reverence, Class 1 and 2 celebrated Martinmas this year. Inspired by the story of St Martin, a Roman soldier who gave half his cloak to a poor beggar on the road in a gesture of human kindness, we ventured out into the night with our shining lanterns.
Walking and singing together through the woods, we summoned the power of our inner light to illuminate the darkness in the world.
Cl. 12 Play – The Turn of the Screw – Cast Q&A
Ahead of their Class 12 Play, we sat down with members of the cast and asked them some questions about Henry James’s enigmatic tale and about their brand new production.
Class 12 will be performing Henry James’s The Turn of the Screw at The Cockpit on 28th and 29th November 2019. Tickets are onsale now.
Michaelmas Work Day 2019
Today at school we celebrated Michaelmas with several hours hard work, a delicious lunch of soup and bread made for us by Classes 1, 2 & 3, and the Dragon Game played in rain and sun! (more…)
